About the Marrakech climate summit: When the solution becomes part of the problem

The Paris Agreement has been heralded as a milestone in the fight against climate change. It is true that some aspects could be particularly important (as its universality), but in fact, its effectiveness will depend on voluntary contributions from the States. After one year of growing momentum, the Marrakech Climate Summit, coinciding with the victory of Trump, has not achieved to implement the development regulations, absolutely necessary to be effective. Nevertheless, the States and other actors have behaved in a triumphant rhetoric way transmitting a misrepresentation.
When the devastating consequences of the climate change are increasing, international action based on rhetoric more than on real engagements takes humanity further away from the solution. And there is no much time to waste.
