This article aims to analyze the headquarters agreement between Spain and the World Food Programme (WFP) concerning the WFP logistics base in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (New York, 19-7-2012), from the perspective of the logistical and legal difficulties that arise in the provision of humanitarian and emergency aid in the event of a natural disaster; the challenges in achieving greater efficiency; and, in light of the above, to examine some legal contributions based on the regime of privileges and immunities under Diplomatic Law.
