Abstract

The aim of this article is to analyze the treatment given to the migration issues within MERCOSUR, in the framework of the redefinition of regional integration project in early twenty-first century, and as part of a broader process of migration income to international agenda. Secondly, reflect on the role played by Argentina in the MERCOSUR Specialized Forum on Migration, taking into account the current direction of its migration policy and its foreign policy strategy, among other factors.
