Abstract

This paper focuses in gender persecution and its framing inside the protection offered by International Refugee Law. In this sense, we will examine the eventual gender perspetive in the 1951 Geneva Convention and other instruments, according to institutional interpretacion recommended by UNHCR, regional trends and legal approaches made by International and National Courts.
