Abstract

Weapons of war are often the cause of severe disability. It is a demonstration of their destructive power. Victims have no so far received due attention, but progress in international law (United Nations Convention on disabled rights, the regulation of recent humanitarian treaties, among others) should also cover the protection of these victims. The goal of this research is the clarification of the rights of such persons.
