Interim measures in enforced disappearance cases in the Inter-American Court of Human Rights case law: Analysis, criticism and challenges

The present article carries out a review of the jurisprudence of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights in the exercise of its power to dictate interim measures which affect people in situations of enforced disappearance. To do that, this paper collects and analyzes various judgments that highlight the major trends of legal interpretation adopted by the Court in this matter, as well as some of the challenges posed by its own jurisprudence.
