The reform of official translation and interpretation in Spanish Private International Law

The Law 29/2015, 30th July, on international legal cooperation in civil matters has modified the sixteenth additional provision of the Law 2/2014, of 25th March of Action and Foreign Service of the State. This has caused a change in relation to who can perform official translations and interpretations in Spain. In this work it will be delimited the concept of official translation and interpretation of other related concepts such as sworn, legal, judicial or certified translation/interpretation requirements as well as who can perform official translations-interpretations, when an official translation-interpretation is required and what is the future of the juridical, legal and sworn translation and interpretation.
