About the Journal

The Revista Electrónica de Estudios Internacionales (REEI) is published by the Spanish Association of International Law and International Relations Professors (AEPDIRI) since 2000.

The REEI is open to specialized research works on public international law, private international law and international relations. The only publication criteria are the scientific quality and interest of the proposal.

The REEI is generally addressed to anyone interested in international issues and, in particular, to an academic audience as well as to international lawyers and international relations professionals.

The REEI provides direct open access to its contents, which are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-No Derivative Works 4.0 International license (see https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nd/4.0/deed.en)

Readers can download, print, search and link the full content of works published in the REEI. They are also free to copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format as long as both the author and the REEI are cited. Derivative works are not allowed.

The journal is structured in various sections. The first section is devoted to Studies and Notes. Notes have a more specific and limited scope, although they must meet the same scientific quality standards. For further information, see publishing guidelines.

The second section covers Reports on the three main journal focus areas: public international law, private international law and international relations. Public and private international law reports include a selection of brief comments and analyses of particularly relevant court decisions—or legislative developments. International relations reports include a Spanish foreign policy report focused on parliamentary activity.

The third section comprises Reviews of monographs and books submitted to the Editorial Board, which will appoint the person responsible for the review.
